These ibluno Advertising
products create a Bluetooth-Hotspot which is a low cost,
maintenance free, highly efficient and highly secure
way of marketing. The hotspot creates a back and forth
messaging environment, enabling any customer to download
any kind of mobile compatible file such as Textfiles,
MP3s, Movies, Company logo etc.
ibluno
operates using the internationally recognized and accepted
Bluetooth data networking system in the Industrial,
Medical and Scientific (IMS) radio transfer band at
approximately 2.45 Ghz. |

Providing the discovered device satisfies the transmission
criteria ibluno will
then attempt to deliver the i-Bluetooth message to the
device. |

ibluno will then register
that the device has successfully received the file and
will stop sending to the device for the Resend Elapsed
Time Period |

Should the device not accept the ibluno
message, then the unit will continue to send to the
device until the Maximum Attempts has been met with
a Retry Delay between each attempt being set by the
operator. |

These are parameters set up by the system to determine
if the detected unit should have a transmission attempt
made. They include: |

OBEX Capable: If the unit is capable of receiving
a OBEX Bluetooth message. |

White-listed: If the owner
of a device does not wish to be included by a ibluno
system, a database of these devices will disallow the
ibluno unit to send it to him. |

received a ibluno message

2. Resend Elapsed Time Period |
|
| |
|
The time period between possible attempts to send
to a device again. This period has a minimum period
of 6 hours and a maximum of 48 hours to stop the incessant
sending of files to devices that have already been detected. |

The maximum number of attempts after the discovery
of a device that the ibluno
unit will attempt to deliver the message, configurable
to give the best chance of message delivery. |
